LARRY WESTON
Larry is a big believer in seeking out moments of relief and joy. It was his own desire for a place to unwind, to immerse himself in the ocean, sky and nature, that lead him to designing Shelter Shacks. Larry is passionate about sustainable design, living his life to the highest order and surrounding himself with his loved ones as much as possible. On weekends he can be found escaping to the NSW Coast or Stradbroke Island, usually under water.
Larry Weston Architect has worked long-term with several well-known commercial clients on projects in Australia and Singapore. His experience spans over 30 years, including high-end restaurant & bar designs, retail spaces, corporate offices and countless residential homes.
BLAKE READ
Blake is a passionate snowboarder, skateboarder and surfer, happiest on a mountain, bowl or wave. He and his wife are raising three keen boarders on the Northern Beaches, Sydney.
Blake’s belief that personal wealth should not be a barrier to beautiful design was the seed that germinated Shelter Shacks. He is also strongly committed to earth friendly sustainable design.
Blake is the CEO and Founder of Beach Burrito Co, built on the ethos of fusing quality food, culture and community. Blake has significant experience managing a large scale business with its daily operational needs.
EMMA READ
Emma’s loves are interiors, photography and food, she loves to create beauty in her own space around her. A deep love of family and shared time together is her motivation to create Shelter Shacks, as an opportunity for ordinary folk to obtain their own holiday shack.
